I am sure all of you have been around people that constantly talk about themselves and quite frankly it gets exhausting at times. I am going to tell you the easiest way for someone to like you in a matter of minutes. It’s so complicated so read carefully (jk it really isn’t). Okay here it is:
DO NOT TALK ABOUT YOURSELF!!!!!
Yes, I get it, this is very hard for some of you.
The person asking the questions in any conversation is the one who holds the most power. It’s a known Sales Tactic and any salesman/woman knows this. Talk about yourself as least as possible in any *first* encounter and be the one asking the questions. Oh and one last thing: repeat back to the person what they are saying to you. This will show the other person that you have been listening.
People want to be heard.
