Five books that changed my life

1.) The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman

Gary Chapman, a very well known relationship expert discusses that there are five love languages we experience as human beings. Knowing your partner’s love language is the key to having long last relationships. This is a must read for everyone, whether in a romantic relationship or not. Chapman discusses the five love languages. Here they are below:

-Quality Time

-Physical Touch

-Words of Affirmation

-Gifts

-Acts of Service

2.) The Art of Connecting by Claire Raines & Lara Ewing

The Art of Connecting is an excellent guide to self awareness when engaged with different kinds of people and situations. It is a great resource and a wonderful step towards closing the gaps that are keeping us apart as individuals.

3.) The Mask of Masculinity by Lewis Howes

Lewis is a big fan of mine. In his book he discusses the different masks we wear as men and what we need to do as men to embrace a life filled with vulnerability that will result in long lasting relationships we have with others.

4.) The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg

Charles discusses in his book the power of habit and why we do things they way we do them. He confronts the root drivers of our behavior, accepts them as intractable, and then channels those same cravings into productive patterns.

5.) Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki

This is a classic. I am sure most of you have heard of Rich Dad Poor Dad. Robert Kiyosaki discusses the myth that says you need to earn a high income to be rich. He shows parents why they can’t rely on the school system to teach their kids to be rich, and how important it is for parents to talk to their kids about money at a young age to set them up for future financial success.
