How to Remove Hesitation

We all hesitate. Some of us do it on a daily basis, and realize that we’re hesitating in all aspects of our life. Its affecting our dating life, our career, our friendships, and even opening up to our family about things going on in our life. I catch myself hesitating sometimes and realize it’s a habit I formed when I was a kid. Growing up, I never raised my hand in the classroom. I was always too embarrassed to possibly say the wrong answer and look like an idiot. Looking back it was just all in my head, as well as what the school system teaches us about being wrong (that can be a whole other article). If we hesitate with something in one area of our life, it will directly affect other areas of our life as well. You see, what hesitation does is it creates a pattern in our brain when we hesitate with something. This could be not raising your hand, not speaking up at work when you know you should have, not saying what you want to say to your spouse, etc. We hesitate, and it just keeps building and building until we form a habit of hesitating and boom we realize we’ve been hesitating our entire lives. I’ll be honest I still hesitate in certain situations and I realize I’m doing it. I’d say most of the time it’s me not approaching the girl I think is pretty or not saying what I want to say when I am in a sales meeting for work. It’s the fact that you know you’re hesitating and how to get better at building the confidence of saying what you want to say. So, how exactly do you do this? Well, I want to share what works for me and what I have learned from others and observed.
