I swear by this.
So what is your daily money minute?
Well alright, it might be less than a minute or maybe more….
What is this? It’s basically taking a minute out of your day to check what your money situation is currently…
What money came out of your account today?
Did you get paid?
Did that money from a client of yours finally get deposited into your account?
What’s your overall view towards money currently?
How am I creating more opportunities tied to money in my life?
Where am I providing value, and am I getting compensated for it?
I wrote an article a few days ago about how often I think about money. I admitted I do it a lot, and I’m sure those of you reading this do as well. But, it doesn’t have to be that way. All it can be is a simple few minutes each day thinking about your current financial situation, and what is coming up when it comes to payments, bills, etc. These few minutes a day can be a great way to track your goals and see where you’re at currently.
We all have goals, well I hope you do. But, money goals. Maybe you have a goal to save X amount of dollars this year because you plan to buy a house next year. Maybe, it’s saving for an international trip you plan to take your spouse on. Whatever it may be, check in on it daily. Track your progress, and do it in a way that works for you.
I can tell you this. I know what days of the month I have bills due, and when money gets extracted out of my account. I typically set up when bills are due on the same day each month, if possible. Then, I just know what money will be coming out of my account, along with the amount.
Taking a daily money minute helps me with tracking goals, and seeing where I’m at currently.
